Dear participants/authors!
Following the Congress, the Organizing Committee has provided several options for publishing post-Congress full-text articles based on the materials of your reports.
First of all, you are invited to publish one full-text article for each abstract (in Russian or in English) in the EFRE 2026 Congress Proceedings. Each article in the Proceedings will be assigned DOI. The Proceedings will be released in 2026 and will be indexed in RSCI.
The deadline for submitting manuscripts to the EFRE 2026 Congress Proceedings is July 17, 2026.
The Organizing Committee informs that in addition to full-text publications in the EFRE 2026 Congress Proceedings, participants will have access to options for publishing one full-text article (in Russian only)*, prepared based on the materials of the reports, in one of the following journals indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index and included in the "White List":
- Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics (regular issue) / Известия Российской академии наук. Серия физическая (регулярный выпуск)
- Journal of Surface Investigation: X-ray, Synchrotron and Neutron Techniques (regular issue) / Поверхность. Рентгеновские, синхротронные и нейтронные исследования (регулярный выпуск)
- Fizika i khimiya obrabotki materialov (regular issue) / Физика и химия обработки материалов (регулярный выпуск)
- Perspektivnye Materialy (regular issue) / Перспективные материалы (регулярный выпуск)
Each article in the Journals will be assigned DOI. All issues of each journal will be published in 2027. The number of issues of each journal will be determined based on the quota proposed by the editorial board, the capacity of the issue, and the deadlines for submitting manuscripts.
The deadline for submitting manuscripts to the Journals is September 13, 2026.
Participants wishing to publish an article in one of the journals must send an email to efre2026pub@hcei.ru indicating the journal and the abstract they intend to submit their manuscript to. These submissions will be reviewed by the Congress Program Committee, after which invitations to submit manuscripts will be sent to the email addresses provided during registration. Priority will be given to those participants who have submitted a manuscript to the EFRE 2026 Congress Proceedings. Participants can publish either an extended article based on the article submitted to the Congress Proceedings or a unique article based on one of the submitted papers.
* For reasons beyond the control of the Organizing Committee, we are unable to offer participants publications in journals indexed in Scopus and the Web od Science within the framework of the Congress. This circumstance is due to the fact that at the end of 2026, Pleiades Publishing will cease cooperation with the Russian Academy of Sciences and will no longer translate articles and publish them on Springer Nature resources.
Each manuscript will undergo a peer review process before publication. Therefore, when preparing your manuscript, please carefully follow the requirements outlined in a guideline. Manuscripts that do not comply with the formal requirements of the guideline will be returned to the authors for revision.
Important Notice for Authors Affiliated with Russian Organizations:
You must to prepare and upload an official expert conclusion (publication permission) for each of your submitted materials in the Congress system. Please note that failure to provide the required expert conclusions will result in the rejection of your materials for publication.
Manuscripts and official publication permission shall be uploaded via the participant's Personal Area (https://efre2026.hcei.ru/cabinet/docs/) section. If the EFRE 2026 Proceedings Editorial Board determines during the review process that your manuscript requires revision, further correspondence with the author will be conducted via email.
