Synchrotron Radiation School Grant

As a part of school there will be organized a competition for participants. The winners will receive an allowance which will cover accommodation in Tomsk city, the tour to the synchrotron radiation source of Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics (Novosibirsk). Referring organizations of school participants undertake commitments to cover travel costs to Tomsk and back. Senior students of undergraduate level and graduate students demonstrating high academic performance are invited to participate in the competition.

For participation in the competition, it is necessary to fill in the application form on the conference website. The application has to contain the following information:

  • Full name;
  • Date of Birth;
  • Organization / Educational institution;
  • City and Country;
  • Level of education / degree / level of education received, course (e.g. PhD student, 3rd year);
  • Educational Program;
  • Email address;
  • Contact number.

The motivation letter and the reference letter from a scientific supervisor/professor/head of structural unit should be attached to the application form. In the motivation letter (no more than 1 page), the participant has to indicate the reasons for participation in the school, as well as how it will affect his/her future scientific research.
