Dear friends!
And so ended the 8th International Congress on Energy Fluxes and Radiation Effects EFRE-2022. The Congress, held in an in person format in October 2.
- International Symposium on High Current Electronics (22nd SHCE),
- International Conference on Modification of Materials with Particle Beams and Plasma Flows (16th CMM),
- International Conference on Radiation Physics and Chemistry of Condensed Matter (20th RPC),
- International Conference on New Materials and High Technologies (5th NMHT).
The Congress hosted representatives of more than 50 leading scientific, educational, and business organizations of Russia and delegations from Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Latvia, Morocco, Republic of Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. In total, more than 300 scientists and other experts were involved in the Congress, and more than half of them were younger than 35. The participants of the Congress heard 9 plenary lectures by leading Russian scientists and representatives of high tech business, more than 200 oral reports and about 300 poster reports, visited research organizations of Tomsk with an excursion.
The Congress also included several round tables, Young Scientist Contest, and popular science lectures for high school students and broad audience of Tomsk.
What is encouraging is that the Congress participants look for the 9th International Congress on Energy Fluxes and Radiation Effects in Tomsk in 2024, and such a decision has been made.
